Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Reaching Technical Support by Phone
You will need to have a Support Plan in place, or be within your free 30-Day purchase window to contact our support representatives by phone.

When You Call Support, Please Have the Following Information Ready:
-Your name, the name of your organization and your zip code
-Platform are using (Windows 98, Windows NT,XP, etc.)
-Version of Office Tracker you are using (3.7.3, etc. Locate this by looking at the "Admin" page on the server or with the client or single-user version look under the Windows menu for "About Office Tracker")
-Brief description of your problem

Office Tracker version 8 and later are tested for use with Windows Vista and will the only series updated to reflect necessary Vista changes. We recommend an upgrade to all existing users of versions prior to version 8, if they intend to run Vista on any of their computers.

30-Day Standard Package (comes with initial product purchases, not upgrades)
30-days of e-mail and limited* phone support at no additional charge (except for long distance charges). Customer Support representatives are usually available by calling: 512-469-2967 Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST excluding
holidays. The 30 day period begins at the time of purchase.

Basic Support Plan - $295/ 90 days
This plan is the minimum "get you started" continued support plan. Up to four support telephone calls per month. Up to 4 online questions answered usually within 0-4 hours during work days. One contact name per support plan. If contact changes there will be a transfer fee of $50.

Standard Support Plan- $395/6 months
Up to four support telephone calls per month. Up to 4 online questions answered usually within 0-4 hours during work days. One contact name per support plan. If contact changes there will be a transfer fee of $50.

Standard Plus Support Plan- $695/ 1 year
Up to four support telephone calls per month. Up to 4 online questions answered usually within 0-4 hours during work days. One contact name per support plan. If contact changes there will be a transfer fee of $50.

Premium Support Plan - $895/ 1 year
Up to ten phone calls per month on a priority basis. Up to 10 online questions answered on a priority basis, usually within 0-4 hours during work days. Two contact names per support plan. If contact changes there will be a transfer fee of $50.

Per Incident Phone Support $125
The following per incident services are offered on a per product, per contact name basis with a limit of 1 hour per incident.

  • This plan is only available for phone support and the cost is $125.00 per incident up to a maximum of 1 hour, charged to your American Express, Visa or Mastercard.
  • Each support incident is equal to a single issue or problem that cannot reasonably be broken down into subordinate parts
